1. Introduction
Welcome to All-in-One Compressor & Converter (the “App”). The App helps you compress images, videos, and audio, convert formats, extract audio from video, process files in batches, preview results, save files, and share output files.
This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed by the App, which system permissions are used, and how you can manage local data.
2. Information Processed by the App
The App does not proactively collect account information that directly identifies you. To provide its features, the App may process the following information locally on your device:
- Media files you select: images, videos, audio files, animated images, and files needed for document-style output.
- Media metadata: file name, file size, format, resolution, duration, codec information, and thumbnails.
- Output files: compressed or converted files, cover images, and temporary files.
- Tasks and history: task status, progress, processing settings, output path, and saved size.
- Settings and presets: default compression preferences, metadata options, custom presets, and Pro unlock status.
- Cache data: temporary import files, intermediate files, and thumbnails that can be cleared in Settings.
3. Permissions
- Photo Library read access: used when you choose images or videos from Photos.
- Photo Library write access: used when you save processed images or videos to Photos.
- File access: used when you import files from the Files app. Imported files are copied into the App sandbox before processing.
- System share sheet: used when you choose to share or export output files to other apps, cloud storage, or file locations.
If you deny a permission, related features may not work, but other features that do not require that permission may still be available.
4. Purchases and Subscriptions
Pro features are provided through Apple App Store in-app purchases, including a weekly membership and a lifetime purchase. Apple processes purchases, subscription renewals, cancellations, refund requests, and payment information.
- The App does not collect, store, or process your card number, payment account, billing address, or similar payment details.
- The App uses verified StoreKit transaction status from Apple to determine whether Pro features should be unlocked, including active subscriptions, lifetime purchases, and restored purchases.
- To keep the unlock state locally, the App may store whether Pro is unlocked, the product type, and the unlock time on your device.
- If you reinstall the App or switch devices, you can use Restore Purchases in the App with the same Apple ID to sync your purchase status from the App Store.
5. Media Uploads
Compression, conversion, audio extraction, and batch processing are performed locally by default. We do not upload your media files to our own server by default, and we do not use your media content for advertising, profiling, or third-party analytics.
If you use the system share sheet to send files to another app or service, such as email, cloud storage, or messaging apps, that third party receives the files you choose to share. Their handling of data is governed by their own privacy policies.
6. Metadata and Location Data
The App offers options to keep or remove media metadata. Metadata may include device model, capture time, orientation, and in some photos, GPS location information.
- If you choose to remove metadata, the App will try to remove it from the output file.
- If you choose to keep metadata or location information, the output file may continue to include that information.
7. Third-Party Components
Some Pro format features use FFmpegKit, FFmpeg, and related open-source media libraries. These components are used for local media processing and are not used for advertising tracking or user profiling.
Open-source licenses and source code information are available in Settings - Open Source Licenses and Source Code, and on the support page as a downloadable notice package.
8. Storage and Retention
- Imported files, output files, task history, processing history, purchase unlock status, and settings are stored locally on your device or in the App sandbox.
- Temporary files and thumbnails may be stored in cache and can be deleted from Settings - Clear Cache.
- Deleting the App usually removes data in the App sandbox. Files saved to Photos or exported elsewhere are not automatically deleted when the App is removed.
9. Children’s Privacy
The App is a general-purpose local media tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Security
The App reduces data transfer risk by processing media locally when possible. No device or software environment can be guaranteed to be absolutely secure. Please protect your device, Apple ID, and exported media files.
11. Your Choices
- You can manage Photos permissions in iOS Settings.
- You can clear cache, delete task records, or delete history in the App.
- You can choose whether to keep metadata or use Pro controls.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings.
- You decide whether to save output files to Photos or share them with third-party apps.
12. Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy based on feature changes, legal requirements, or App Store review requirements. The updated policy will be shown in the App or on the support website and will be effective as of the date shown on the page.
